Other WEFSC Projects

We believe that Fire Safety is a much larger problem that extends far beyond Wynola Estates.  We are taking the information that we have learned over the past several years out into other communities in an effort to make the county as a whole, more fire resilient.

We'll be adding some fire-resistant plants and signage.

San Carlos is a beautiful community near Cowles Mountain in San Diego County.  This community garden has offered a corner of their space to Coko for designing and installing a garden that will help educate community members on fire-resiliency in their own gardens. The garden is in the beginning stages and the progress will be documented on this site in real time. This garden is being supported by WEFSC,  San Carlos Community Garden, Fire Safe Council of San Diego County,  SDG&E, and Walter Anderson's Nursery
